Our company has always been known for flexible manufacturing and engineering expertise. We “lead the weigh” in manufacturing heavy capacity rail & truck scale test units, as well as motorized heavy load moving equipment. The KSS manufacturing facility, now with 30 years of experience, is located onsite at our headquarters in Poca, WV, and employs engineers, welders, fabricators, painters, and more. We’ve built numerous test trucks. Some of our best test equipment customers are other scale companies and state agencies. We also fabricate custom test weights.

INTRODUCING the SR5000

This unit offers a fresh solution to the longstanding safety issue inherent in other open
bed boom test trucks! Our engineers developed the SR5000, leveraging over three
decades of experience in test equipment manufacturing and over 70 years in scale
service. With safety top-of-mind, we’ve created an affordable open bed test truck with a
user-friendly boom that stores above the cab instead of off the back. The SR5000 lifts
5000 pounds and expertly handles a test cart.

• Open-bed for efficient loading and access; lower price point
• Sliding rail boom system repositions boom storage to the front
• Eliminates rear overhang so techs don’t manage boom length behind the truck
• Safer maneuvering in tight areas – yards, lots, docks, job sites, traffic
